The TOA Electronics TS-924 Long Unidirectional Microphone Unit is a key part of the Infrared Conference System's Chairman and Delegate units. Its mic head features an illuminated display ring, letting you quickly check the unit's status. The gooseneck has two flexible parts, enabling you to adjust the mic to the perfect position. It's an electret condenser microphone with unidirectional directivity. The rated impedance is 1.4 k, and the rated sensitivity is -37 dB (1 kHz 0 dB = 1 V/Pa). It has a red ring - type speech LED indicator. The frequency response ranges from 100 Hz to 13 kHz, and the output connector is a combined XLR - 4 - 32 type. With an operating humidity of 90%RH or less (no condensation), the body is made of aluminium and the shaft of copper alloy, both in black semi - gloss paint. It's 620 mm (2.03 ft) long and weighs 150 g (0.33 lb).

Using the TOA Electronics TS - 924 microphone is easy. First, connect it to the appropriate unit in your infrared conference system using the combined XLR - 4 - 32 output connector.
