Product Description

The Lowell LT - 810 - BB is a great choice for suspended tile ceilings. It features an 8 - inch 15W dual cone driver, offering excellent sound quality. The fine - perforation grille not only provides maximum free - air space for great sound transmission but also has an unobtrusive look in any tile ceiling. The 1x2 tile system can quickly replace half of a non - tegular 2x2 ceiling tile or one - fourth of a non - tegular 2x4 ceiling tile. It comes with a 0.147 cu ft steel backbox with speaker leads exiting through a metal clamp for easy connection. The driver has a 10 oz magnet, a frequency response of 54Hz - 11.6kHz (±6dB) and 50Hz - 20kHz (±6.6dB), and an average sensitivity of 97.9dB measured 1W/1M, with a 95 - degree conical dispersion. The patented integral T - bar supports neighboring ceiling tiles, and it has a restraint tab and hole for two - cable code compliance (cables not included).

Using the Lowell LT - 810 - BB speaker is easy. First, remove the appropriate section of the non - tegular ceiling tile as per the system's size. Then, install the speaker system in the opening. The integral T - bar will support the adjacent ceiling tiles. Connect the speaker leads through the metal clamp on the backbox to your audio source. For best results, make sure the connection is secure. When it comes to maintenance, keep the grille clean. You can gently dust it with a soft cloth. Avoid getting the speaker wet. If you notice any issues with the sound quality, check the connections first. Also, don't expose the speaker to extreme temperatures or high humidity as it may affect its performance.
