The Lowell LT2-810-BB is a single-unit speaker designed for suspended tile ceilings. It features an 8-inch 15W dual cone driver with a 10 oz. magnet, offering a frequency response of 54Hz - 11.6kHz (±6dB) and 50Hz - 20kHz (±6.6dB), and an average sensitivity of 97.9dB at 1W/1M. The speaker comes with a fine-perforation grille in white, which provides excellent sound transmission while looking unobtrusive. The .147 cu.ft. steel backbox has leads that exit through a metal clamp for quick connection. It's a 2x2 assembly that can directly replace a 2'x2' ceiling tile.

Using the Lowell LT2 - 810 - BB speaker is easy. First, remove a 2'x2' ceiling tile from your suspended ceiling. Then, simply place the speaker in the tile's position. The restraint tabs help keep it in place. To connect it, use the speaker leads that come out through the metal clamp on the backbox. When it comes to maintenance, you can gently clean the white grille with a soft, dry cloth to keep it looking good. Avoid getting the speaker wet, as this can damage the internal components.
