Product Description

The RDL SF-ND2 is a top - notch digital audio interface. It can transform two Dante network audio channels into a stereo digital audio output. You can easily switch the output to get AES/EBU on XLR, or coaxial and optical S/PDIF. There's no need for special software to set up this module. This professional - grade product offers studio - quality performance. It's powered by PoE, and a green LED on the front shows valid power and network sync. The SF - ND2 comes in a tough, all - metal enclosure, suitable for free - standing, surface - mounted, or rack - mounted operation. Engineered and made in the U.S.A, it's built for continuous use in demanding installations. Key features include converting two Dante network audio signals to left/right digital audio, selectable Dante sample rates from 44.1 kHz to 96 kHz, and a transformer - isolated AES/EBU output. Technical specs show it has an RJ45 network connector, supports 100 Mbps transmission, and can operate in an ambient environment from 0°C to 50°C.

Using the RDL SF - ND2 is straightforward. First, connect it to the Dante network using the RJ45 connector. Make sure it gets power through PoE (Class 0, IEEE 802.3af). Once connected, the green LED on the front should light up, indicating valid power and network sync. You can then select the output type (AES/EBU on XLR, coaxial or optical S/PDIF) according to your needs. There's no need to worry about special software for setup. When using it, keep the ambient temperature between 0°C and 50°C. For maintenance, simply keep the unit clean and free from dust. If there are any issues with the network or output, check the Ethernet link and speed indicators on the rear panel and the sync indicator on the front panel.
