Product Description

The Elite Core PC12-AM-150 is a 150-foot power cable that connects Neutrik PowerCon to an Edison male plug. The PowerCon is a lockable 3-pole AC connector with line, neutral, and premating safety ground contacts. Rated at 20A/250V AC, it comes in color-coded power-in (blue) and power-out (grey) versions with different keying to prevent incorrect connections. The contacts are designed to prevent arcing damage when disconnected under load. Professionally assembled in our Elite Core Audio shop, this cable is ideal for powering various sound and lighting equipment. It features a 300V 12 AWG UL cable, is CSA, MSHA, and ROHS listed, and has a 3-conductor Seoprene heavy-duty black power cord with a 20-amp rating. It's made in the USA. The Stinger AC power extension cable, also assembled in our shop, has similar features including heavy-duty Hubble 3-prong male and female AC plugs, a 12/3 SJ listed heavy-duty rubber-coated power cable, and is UL, CSA, MSHA, and ROHS compliant.

Using this power cable is easy. First, make sure the equipment you want to power is turned off. Then, connect the Neutrik PowerCon end to the appropriate power source or equipment that supports it, and plug the Edison male end into the electrical outlet. When connecting the PowerCon, pay attention to the color-coded versions to ensure correct mating. Always ensure the cable is not overloaded. Do not use it with equipment that requires more than 20 amps. Avoid pulling the cable forcefully, especially when it's connected. For maintenance, keep the cable clean and dry. If there are any signs of damage like frayed wires or broken plugs, stop using it immediately and replace it to ensure safety.
