Product Description

The Williams Sound BKT 024 is an omnidirectional mounting bracket that can be installed on walls or ceilings. It's designed to work with single TX9 or TX90 transmitters, as well as WIR TX75 transmitters and WIR TX75 - S emitters. This bracket comes with two different bases. Base 1 is a 2 - inch (50.8 mm) round base with four 0.188 - inch (4.8 mm) holes on a 1.6 - inch (40.6 mm) bolt circle, perfect for solid surface mounting. Base 2 is a T - Bar Clip for drop ceiling rails. There's also a black vinyl base cover that can cover either base. The bracket has two 0.5 - inch (12.7 mm) diameter, 2 - inch (50.8 mm) long aluminum shafts in black, with a 1/4 - 20 stud and a lock ring. The head offers 190° tilt, 360° turn, and 360° rotation, allowing for flexible positioning. It comes in finished lengths of 2 inches, 4 inches, or 6 inches, and can support a maximum weight of 3 lbs (1.36 kg). The shipping weight is just 0.3 lbs (166.5 g). It's compatible with WIR TX75 (Mid - range Infrared Transmitter), WIR TX75 - S (Slave emitter for TX75), WIR TX9 (SoundPlus 2 - channel Infrared Emitter), and WIR TX90 (SoundPlus 2 - channel Infrared Transmitter).

Using the Williams Sound BKT 024 mounting bracket is easy. First, decide whether you want to mount it on a wall or a ceiling. If it's a solid surface like a wall, use Base 1. Just align the holes on the base with the spots on your surface and secure it. For drop ceilings, use Base 2 by clipping it onto the T - bar rails. Then, attach the shafts to the base and put on the lock ring. After that, you can attach your transmitter or emitter to the head of the bracket. You can adjust the head's tilt, turn, and rotation to get the perfect angle for your device. When using the bracket, make sure the weight of your device doesn't exceed 3 lbs. Also, avoid over - tightening the lock ring as it might damage the shaft. For maintenance, you can wipe the bracket with a dry cloth to keep it clean. If it gets dirty, use a mild cleaning solution and a soft cloth. Don't use abrasive materials as they could scratch the black finish.
