Product Description

The Lowell WXR-226 is a slim open-frame wall rack designed to mount 19'W equipment on a wall or backboard. Its top and base are made of heavy-gauge steel, which can be installed on 16' centers to create a stable platform for patch panels, routers, switches, telecom, or computer gear. This rack comes unassembled. Key features include a 14-gauge steel top and base, 11-gauge steel corner post rails tapped 10-32, upper and lower front vents, open sides with obrounds in the top/base for cable management, a smooth black powder epoxy finish, and a 200 lbs load capacity. Technical specs: 22U rack space, 42.28 in. height, 19.21 in. width, and 6.00 in. depth (5.85 usable).

Using the Lowell WXR-226 wall rack is easy. First, find a suitable wall or backboard where you want to mount the rack. Make sure the surface can support the 200 lbs load capacity. Assemble the rack as per the instructions, using the 14 - gauge steel top and base and 11 - gauge steel corner post rails. Once assembled, mount it on 16' centers for a stable setup. You can then place your 19'W equipment like patch panels, routers, or switches on the rack. For cable management, use the obrounds on the open sides of the top and base. When it comes to maintenance, a simple wipe - down with a dry cloth will keep the smooth black powder epoxy finish looking good. Avoid using abrasive cleaners as they may damage the finish. Also, regularly check the mounting points to ensure the rack remains secure. If you need to move the rack, disassemble it carefully to avoid any damage.
