Product Description

The Elite Core Neutrik PowerCon Power Extension Cable, measuring 6 feet, is a top - notch solution for powering sound and lighting equipment. The PowerCon connector is a lockable 3 - pole AC connector. It has contacts for line, neutral, and premating safety grounds, rated at 20A/250V AC. Color - coded for easy recognition, it comes in power - in (blue) and power - out (grey) versions with different keying to prevent intermating. The contacts are designed to avoid arcing damage when disconnected under load. Professionally assembled in our Elite Core Audio shop, this cable is a 300V 12 AWG UL, CSA, MSHA, and ROHS listed 3 - conductor Seoprene heavy - duty power cord in black, made in the USA. It features Heavy Duty Hubble 5266EBK 3 - prong male and 5269EBK 3 - prong female AC plugs, and a 12/3 SJ listed heavy - duty rubber - coated power cable that's UL, CSA, MSHA, and ROHS compliant.

Using this power extension cable is easy. First, make sure your sound or lighting equipment is turned off. Then, plug the male end of the cable into a suitable power source and the female end into your equipment. You can easily tell the power - in and power - out ends apart because of the color - coding. When you're done using the equipment, turn it off before disconnecting the cable to prevent any arcing damage. Keep the cable away from sharp objects that could cut the rubber coating. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture, as this could damage the cable. Periodically check the plugs and the cable for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice anything wrong, don't use the cable and get it replaced.
