Product Description

The Elite Core PC12-AB-50 Neutrik PowerCon Power Extension Cable is a 50-foot long cable designed for powering various sound and lighting equipment. The PowerCon connector is a lockable 3-pole AC connector with contacts for line, neutral, and premating safety grounds. It's rated at 20A/250V AC and comes in color-coded power-in (blue) and power-out (grey) versions with different keying to prevent incorrect mating. The contacts are designed to avoid arcing damage when disconnected under load. This cable is professionally assembled in our Elite Core Audio shop. It's a 300V 12 AWG UL cable, listed with CSA, MSHA, and ROHS. It features a 3-conductor Seoprene heavy-duty black power cord with a 20 Amp rating and is proudly made in the USA. The cable uses Heavy Duty Hubble 5266EBK 3-prong male and 5269EBK 3-prong female AC plugs and a 12/3 SJ listed heavy-duty rubber-coated power cable, and it's compliant with UL, CSA, MSHA, and ROHS standards.

Using this Elite Core power extension cable is easy. First, make sure your equipment is turned off. Then, plug the heavy-duty male AC plug into a power source and the female plug into your sound or lighting equipment. After that, you can turn on your equipment to start using it. When using, always check that the cable isn't damaged. Avoid overloading the cable; it's rated for 20 Amps, so don't connect devices that draw more power than that. Also, keep the cable away from heat sources and sharp objects to prevent damage. For maintenance, regularly inspect the cable for any signs of wear, like frayed wires or loose plugs. If you find any issues, stop using the cable immediately. To clean the cable, you can use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use to extend its lifespan.
